Traffic Generation – Traffic Exchanges

Ouch, I just heard your screech from here! Yes I said traffic exchange. STOP screaming and let me explain why I mention them!

Traffic exchanges have been around for a long time. Perhaps you have tried them in the past. Many have tried – many have failed. One reason people do not like traffic exchanges is that they take work! Yep, that ugly word – W O R K. But they can pay off. Another reason people fail using them is that they use them the wrong way. If you tried them and hated them because they “didn’t produce any results”…let me ask you a question: were you trying to SELL in your traffic exchange pages? I am willing to bet that many of you were.

Trying to sell something is NOT the way to use these traffic exchanges! Use them to drive traffic to a squeeze page instead – offering them a very nice FREEBIE in exchange for their name and email! It works SO much better than a “hard sell.” Plus, give it some time. These exchanges take time to cultivate and learn what works best for your own situation. Stick with the top 10 or so. Make your exchange page simple – simple page, simple graphics.
