Traffic Generation - Using Ebay
Here is part three in a series how to drive traffic to your site. In this third part, I want to talk to you about using Ebay to help funnel traffic to your site! Yes, Ebay! And NO, it’s not just for selling something directly on their site. Did you know that Ebay is in the top 25 sites visited on the internet? They get something like 80,000,000 unique visitors a month. So, let’s try and capture a part of that traffic and send it our way! There are a few ways you can use Ebay to drive traffic to your own site. One way, is to create small, cheap niche reports that contain links to your site. If you do this, you do need to give them some value for their money. Remember, while you want to make money to cover your Ebay costs, your main goal is to funnel that traffic to your site. You do that by offering a great deal in your report, which builds up a rapport with your customers. Inside that report will be links to your main site or blog. In other words, build up trust with your customers from Ebay, they then become YOUR customers that will buy from you again and again! Another way to siphon off traffic from Ebay is to create a Classified Ad on Ebay. Classified Ads are fairly new to Ebay and can be a VERY good source of traffic. The sweet thing about these ads is that you are allowed to post links ON THE SALES PAGE that lead to your main site or blog. Here’s another nice thing: Classified Ads show up in the same search results as normal auction listings! So, use a great title with good keywords and you just may see a very nice flow of traffic from Ebay!
