UEFA Cup Final 2008 Football Programme
15th May 2008 saw the UEFA Cup Final between Glasgow Rangers (Scotland) and Zenit St.Petersburg(Russia). With the Russian side lifting the trophy after winning 2-0. Over 100,000 Scots descended into Manchester,England where the Final was played. Like all major Football games in the UK a programme for the event is produced and is easily available at and around the venue, on the day of the match. Though many thousands are printed and sold, a collector of football programmes is only really interested in the mint condition copies, as the football programmes are usually A4 size, the majority of the programmes are folded to fit into the buyers pocket or get creased during/after the game, so you see a lot of the programmes become valueless. It is the mint condition ones that have some value and it is the days just after the game that are best times to purchase your mint condition copy, these are easily available from the many online websites that deal in Football Programmes. You could get a copy on the cheap by purchasing a copy now before the market settles down as many copies will still be available with some dealers trying to shift their stock. Then after a few weeks the price will be determined by its rarity and availability and it is then you should know whether you have made a good deal or not. |
