Unique Ways to Get Traffic to Your Site If you have a website or you promote someone else's' website as an affiliate, you need to drive traffic to it. There are a lot of ways to do just that, but sometimes it can be a costly venture. Finding unique and efficient ways to drive traffic to your site without spending a fortune is sometimes easier said than done.
Without traffic, you won't get visitors. And without visitors, you won't make money, sales, get subscribers, etc. What good is a website without any traffic? And if the site is getting traffic, what good is it if it's not targeted traffic?
There are many ways to drive traffic to your site, both free and paid. But we are not going to talk about paid traffic right now. That is a totally different topic and could take hours to cover. Some ways of getting free traffic to your site is by Search Engine Optimization, surfing for traffic, or getting it passively.
Now, let's talk about the best way to get free targeted traffic. It's called Instant Buzz. Instant Buzz is a service that gives you advertising credits as you surf the web like you normally would. What you do is download the toolbar for free, it only takes a minute. Then, you set up your ads in the members area. And bam, you ads are being displayed on other members' tool bars as they surf.
When you refer other members, you will also get a percentage of the credits they earn which will go towards your ad credits. If someone likes your ad and is interested in what it says, then they click on it and end up on whatever site it was that you were promoting. Now that's targeted traffic! And it was free.
Another great way to drive traffic to your site for free is by using a traffic exchange. There are several traffic exchanges out there, but since traffic exchanges are built on referrals and earning credits off of new referrals to the site, most will be too tedious to deal with. You do have the alternative to pay for your traffic, but that is another story.

Another great way that you can drive free traffic to your website is by using what is called a hub page. It is similar to a squidoo lens, only you can make adsense revenue off of this site. Not only that you can also make money by referring traffic to other hub pages.
In addition it has the same standard revenue generators like amazon.com and ebay.com affiliate systems. You can add RSS feeds, so if you have a blog, you can add your feed to it and every time you post on your blog it will update on your hub page as well.
You can create an unlimited number of these hubpage just like you can a squidoo lens. Speaking of which you can add fuel to the fire by not only adding a hub page about a product or service, but by also creating squidoo lens about. The good thing about this is you create similar sites and have them linking back and forth between each other.
