University of Wyoming Enrichment Web Developmment Certification The University of Wyoming recently began offering a Web Development Certification program through their non-credit Enrichment Program. Classes are taught by Laura Wheeler, an experienced small business Web Developer. Courses range from full 12 week or 3 day classes which teach how to build a specific website from start to finish, to smaller single topic courses on marketing, images, writing, seo, security, and other website related topics. Full courses also cover those topics as part of the necessary process to creating and sustaining a successful website. Students are able to mix and match course modules to accumulate the needed 12 hours of class time to earn the certificate. The classes are fairly intensive, with a good deal of hands on application of concepts learned. Training is aimed at business website needs, with an emphasis on small business. It is suitable for business owners who wish to build their own site, or for in-house staff who must take on website duties for their employer. It is also a good introduction to website design for those who are exploring options for self-employment within the web design arena.
