What the 4th of July Means to Me I read a lot. I listen. I watch. I see.
I read a lot of stupid stuff. Things that have no meaning. It just brain filler. It is as if our schools are not teaching. I know this is not true. Have the Americans lost their way? Is America filled with stupids? I don't think so. It's like when you big toe hurts on your left foot. Which toe gets the most attention. Of course, it is the BIG toe. The political left have always been big cry babies. They cry about crying. They justify their crying by saying they want CHANGE. Change to what a communist America. The stupids do not know what America needs. The stupids are stupids. It is not the Republicans or the Democrats that are the problem. It's the stupids. They want it all for themselves. The stupids are what I call the Clientonits. It's all about them. A smoker smokes, gets cancer then cries about what the tobacco companies did to them. The teenager experiments with sex and what happens. The teenager's parents cry that the schools didn't do enough or they did too much.
I listen to the news and it is the same news, but the names have changed. I hear people say, "Congress needs to do something about the gas prices." "The president needs to pass this bill to protect an owl or a frog or a tiny fish." "We shouldn't be in the war." I listen. What do I hear. Criers all. Justifiers all. Appeasers all.
There's no crying in America. Justifiers are liars. Appeasers will get us all killed. Stupid, stupid, stupid.
I watch. I'm a great people watcher. I can tell that a customer is going to ask for more bread even before the customer even knows. I know when someone is going to leave their job even before they know they are going to leave. I can tell that America is in trouble and it is going communist. The liberals want it all. Wait until they get it all. Like China when Mao came into power. Someone complained to Mao that the First Emperor of China had buried 600 teachers alive; Mao's reply, "I killed 60,000."
I see. I see that my grand children are not going to enjoy the America, I knew. I see that Americans are scared. Not frightened but scared. Scared to act. Scared to take responsibility. Scared to tell the stupids that the stupids are stupid.
America mean more to me than fireworks. America means more to me than position. America means more to me than wealth.
I am proud of America. I'm not proud of the stupids in America. I'm not proud of the stupids in government. I'm not proud of the stupids in the business world.
