I have a question for you...who the heck are "They" anyway? I mean, I know that you have all heard the expression at least a hundred time that goes " Well, you know what They say..." or " That's what They tell me...". But who are "They"? How did this unknown group get so much control and what kind of influence are "They" inflicting on us? Do we really care what "They" say? Should we continue to do what "They" tell us? What will happen if "They" find out that we are not going to follow their instructions any more? Do we really think that "They" will find out what we are doing, whatever it is?
Are "They" even real or are "They" just another reason we have created to get out of doing something or as an excuse to use for doing something because "They" expect it? In my opinion, it's time for you and I to start blazing our own trail and time to stop following the path "They" have marked for us.
So let's stop voting for the politicians "They" want in office, stop fighting the wars that "They" say are necessary, stop the practise of not telling it like it is just because "They" say it's not politically correct to do so.
I don't know about you, but I feel that we should start marching to the beat of our own drums. It's time to start following our own inner voice, start telling the truth to ourselves and to others, make our own decisions and live with the consiquences, to start developing the values that we want to pass down, and to finally start using our own common sense instead of blindly listening to someone else!
Let's start being leaders instead of followers, teachers as well as students, positive influences instead of negative examples, seekers of the answers instead of just askers of the questions. It's time to break away from whoever or whatever "They " are, and I say if "They" don't like it...then "They" can go to the Devil!
