If you served on active duty in the U.S. military for two or more years, and were honorably discharged, you may qualify for money and government benefits you never knew about. Many former military people are letting money and benefits slip right through their fingers because they do not know that certain things that happened to them while they were on active duty may now qualify them for VA benefits and a monthly check.
If you recieved medical treatment for an injury while serving on active duty, that injury may be the cause of some impairment, ailment, or disability that you suffer from today.
Your injury could have been something as small as a sprained ankle while on a training exercise that did not heal correctly. Because of that injury not healing correctly, calsium deposits may have formed in the joints over the years and you may now suffer from a limp or even arthritis.
Your limp or arthritis could be considered service connected because it was a result of an injury you recieved and were treated for while on active duty.
Contact your nearest VA Hospital and speak with a counselor who will assist you in getting into the system, being evaluated, recieving treatment at no cost, and getting other benefits and a monthly check.
