Zecharia Sitchin is Jewish Scholar whose knowledge of modern and ancient Hebrew, other Semitic and European languages is second to none. He has spent a lifetime studying the Old Testament and the history and archeology of the Near East.
Sitchin has researched and re-translated many of the ancient tablets from the most ancient cities of Sumeria, Babylon and Arcadia (now mostly in Iraq) and his revelations about the colonization of Earth by peoples from a Nibiru, a 12th planet in our solar system about 450,000 years ago have proved to be highly controversial in the scientific and religious world.
However, as fantastic as his theories might sound at first, the compelling evidence that he brings into play from the ancient documents that he has translated, chronologically verified in many ways by the Old Testament, are very logical.
Although ridiculed a lot by the scientific world when it was first published 30 years ago, Zecharia Sitchin's first book "The 12th Planet" and the subsequent books, collectively called "The Earth Chronicles" are now being taken more seriously.
